private member club
Blake Street House began as a historic home and became something far more ambitious: a private member club and wellness destination where art is not decoration but foundation. Dylan served as art advisor, arts programming advisor, and special creative advisor to ownership and the development group throughout the full scope of this landmark hospitality project—helping shape not just what hung on the walls, but how the entire experience would feel.
The art collection at Blake Street House was built with intention and rigor. Works by some of the most significant contemporary artists of our time were sourced, curated, and integrated throughout the building and its campus—from the fireplace lounge and library to the music room, bar, and fitness pavilion. Site-specific commissions were developed for large-scale and architecturally unique areas, ensuring that the collection felt inseparable form he space rather than installed within it. The result is an environment where every room rewards closer looking, and where the art anchors a genuine sense of place.
That curatorial vision extended into programming. Dylan launched and led monthly art talks for members—intimate sessions designed to demystify the art market, deepen engagement with artists and movements, and open doors to experiences far beyond the club itself. Member trips centered on art, architecture, and design became a cornerstone of the Blake Street House experience, connecting a community of curious, accomplished people to the wider world through a shared visual language.
The project was recognized by Interior Design magazine—a reflection of the rare cohesion achieved between architecture, interior design, and art advisory at every scale.
Blake Street House is proof that when art is treated as an essential pillar rather than an afterthought, it transforms not just a space but the culture that grows within it.
